Form of workTactical Networks (TACNET) is a Program of Record (POR) family of systems that are fielded on U.S. Navy ships, submarines and shore sites. TACNET provides mission support capabilities for CANES Pre-installation Test and Checkout, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), CANES Training, and support to TACNET In Service Engineering.
The training team provides training support services including development of CANES system training requirements and documentation of those requirements in the CANES Navy Training System Plan (NTSP). The Training infrastructure develops Navy Standard courses implementing the training solutions and conducts CANES technical training.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma/GED
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as an instructor in a technical trade or craft such as electricity, electronics, surveying, aircraft or ship fundamentals, to include: developing appropriate course material, hands on practical experience with techniques being taught, and researching latest technical discipline practices.
- Active Top Secret (SCI preferred) Security Clearance
