The Systems Lead manages the general day to day operations and maintenance of the Steve Jobs Theatre(SJT) theatrical show systems, Lighting, Audio, Video, and Theatrical Show Power. This position will manage crew personnel in each technical area and have the ability to operate and program all Technical Systems in SJT.
Key Qualifications
Minimum 7-10 years of supervisory experience in a show systems field; proven knowledge of lighting, audio, video theory of operations, as well as practical operation and experience
Experience managing external partnerships with various freelancers, contractors, etc.
Troubleshooting signal and show power issues
ETC & MA consoles/networks (or equivalent programming)
Strong programming skills - conventional/moving/LED fixtures
ETC dimmers; connecting to company switches
Instrument repair and maintenance working knowledge of Paradigm architectural control systems, design, integration and programming
SSL consoles and Meyer audio systems
Constellation Knowledge
Skilled in Vectorworks and iWork
Description
Create and maintain accurate documentation; lighting and sounds plots opening maintenance logs.
Prevent and diagnose system failures and provide immediate corrective action.
Coordinate actions with Technical Manager, Operations Manager and Real Estate and Development(RE&D) team. Lead troubleshooting of equipment, power, and control issues.
Perform necessary inspections and organize preventive maintenance, software updates and hardware replacement of Theater Lighting, Audio, and video systems.
Maintain Lighting, Audio and Video inventory as per the venue Technical Specifications.
Collaborate with leadership to research and propose capital projects analyze and recommend received quotes.
Research and explore new technologies to support operational and and future needs.
Follow all financial and budgetary requirements. Ensure all equipment rentals for shows are in the best interest of the center with regards to cost and quality.
Follows purchasing procedures to include completion of purchase orders and coding of invoices.
Accountable for administrative responsibilities to include scheduling.
Follow and support all operational policies and procedures.
Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with other departments, colleagues, and partners.
Adheres to Apple's high production standards and codes of ethical conduct.
Works well under pressure, maintaining self-composure and integrity.
