BIA-Business Intelligence Analyst
What you will do:
You will be part of a highly motivated, innovative, and high-performing team where each team member is responsible for partnering with stakeholders and leaders to execute on strategic or non-strategic initiatives. You will bring best practices, a track record of fostering partnerships and an approach to deliver results.

  • With your business and data analytics knowledge, you will proactively collaborate with various leaders in Individual Disability department to deliver data analytics and results that drive business decisions.
  • You will gather business data needs and analyze data from various sources (legacy and cloud) to perform impact analysis before diving into a solution.
  • You will own multiple existing reports created in Python, Power BI, excel.
  • Using your understanding of data visualization technologies, you will develop and maintain operational Power BI dashboards and reports that will help improve the business.
  • Analyze and resolve medium to high complexity problems, processes, or support requests while driving continuous improvement.
  • With the Individual Disability business and data knowledge, you will be able to identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.
  • You will be able to prototype solutions for displaying results that can lead to data driven business decisions.
  • Create forecasting and capacity models for leaders so they can manage their teams based on the accuracy of these models.

  • Performs accurate assessments of complex situations, using a mixture of tools and a data to identify patterns, find root causes and provide solutions. Seeks guidance when necessary.

Skills and Background You will need:
  • Bachelor's degree and equivalent experience in Data Analytics or related field
  • Requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience data analysis or any analytical capacity.
  • Strong understanding and experience in R, Python, Azure, Databricks and data modelling knowledge to bring value to Individual Disability business.
  • Defined business and technical acumen, strategic thinking, sound decision making.
  • Specialist in developing queries and procedures in SQL and other BI tools.
  • Experience converting legacy excel reports to PowerBI.
  • Adept in Data visualization tools like DaxStudio, PowerBI. Microsoft PowerBI Data Analyst certification preferred.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet modeling.
  • Agile and Lean mindset and effective at working in a scrum environment.
  • Strong understanding of concepts around Data Quality, Data Governance and Machine Learning.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.
  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.

Salary Range:
$72,750.00 - $123,250.00
