Job Description
TECHNICAL SALES MANAGERresponsible for developing and growing the company’s specialized equipment sales for the East side of the Mississippi, which includes Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Rhode Island, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire. Responsible for utilizing his TECHNICAL SALES experience with SFE Group (f/k/a AXXAIR ) products to oversee sales operations, meeting targets and developing new clients. Responsible for prospecting potential distributors and end users with a demonstration vehicle and a demonstration bench with AXXAIR machines. Responsible for: reviewing sales data and creating reports for Management; utilizing business intelligence tools to provide sales insights to marketing and sales staff; making sales calls by phone and in person; reviewing sales policies and updating policies and curriculum as needed; identifying both struggling and successful sales initiatives and explore ways to improve on sales metrics; communicate actively with sales team and Management; planning and executing sales meetings to help provide feedback and sales insights; interviewing and training new sales employers, and overseeing other onboarding tasks as needed. This position requires the person to have at least 6 years of TECHNICAL SALES experience, plus 3 years of experience with orbital cutting and facing processes and machinery and CNC machining. Salary is commensurate with background and experience.
