Job Description
OEM is seeking an experienced Business Manager to manage the relationship between OEM and independent dealers to generate orders, coordinate support services, ensure proper levels of inventory, and drive market representation to best serve customers.
Pay Range: $90k-$110K/ yr.
- Solicit wholesale orders for OEM products by providing sales, analysis, and recommendations to key decision makers at dealer level.
- Promote company marketing and incentive programs by informing dealers of the cost/benefit associated with participation.
- Communicate with assigned dealers and visit on consistent schedule.
- Plan and forecast billing and retail orders to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify weak market segments and provide dealers and company management with specific action plans to improve sales.
- Resolve problems dealers and end users have with products and services offered by the Company.
- Directly interact with all departments and management levels to evoke solutions.
- Provide management with sales trends, analysis, and forecasts based on contact with the point-of-sale outlets.
- Provide competitive business intelligence to company management
- Facilitate retail sales by locating, leveraging access, and coordinating transport of specifically equipped products.
- Identify weak or underperforming dealers and provide Network Development with specific action plans to improve performance
- Work with Network Development Manager to recruit viable dealer prospects for open or underperforming geographical markets.
- Protect company assets by enforcing corporate financial policies.
- Train dealer personnel on company products and identify inadequacies in competitive products.
- Plan, participate and assist with special events such as rodeos, corporate and dealer farm shows, and sporting events in assigned territory as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree or 10 plus years’ experience in similar field
- Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Travel required.
