Job Description
Technical Project Manager job duties:
· Knowledge of complex rocket engine components; turbomachinery, valves, nozzles, rotors, combustors, ignitors, injectors, blades, hydraulics, pneumatics, solenoids, and/or avionics.
· Hands-on experience with machining, fabrication, welding, brazing, NDT, cleaning, coatings, with knowledge of phased-gate production, master manufacturing plans, tooling and BOM"s.
· Demonstrated aptitude and competent skillset with aerospace hardware assembly and sub-assembly inspection, integration, test, and documentation of manufacturing processes.
· Proven familiarity to drive engineering documents, drawing revisions, and configuration management with ManTech processes which focus on quality and repeatability.
· Multifunctional leadership role with interpersonal skills and knowledge needed in the smooth transition of complex rocket engines, design concept to flight acceptance.
Job Qualifications:
· BS and/or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Industrial, or similar discipline.
· Minimum of 5 years experience in hardware development and project management.
· Experience analyzing sophisticated inventory spreadsheets and Tableau dashboards.
· Very strong, advanced digital technical proficiency with MS Office, MS Excel, MS Project.
· Occasional travel may be required as necessary as needed.
· Must be a U.S. citizen.
Desired Skills:
· Project management certification (PMP - Certified Project Manager).
· Knowledge and experience using CATIA, CREO, Windchill.
· Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes.
· First Article Inspection (FAI) QA requirements.
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $100,000 to $125,000.
