Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Technical Program Manager with a proven track record in managing complex e-commerce projects. Based in the US or Canada, you will play a pivotal role in driving and coordinating multiple technical projects to ensure successful delivery.

What we want you to own in this role:

1. Program Leadership:

• Manage and oversee a portfolio of e-commerce projects in the optical industry from requirement completion through completion to launch.
• Provide strategic direction and guidance to project teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

2. Technical Expertise:

• Leverage your deep technical knowledge to understand the nuances of development and e-commerce projects.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams (in both US and China), offering insights and solutions to overcome challenges.

3. Stakeholder Communication:

• Organize regular cross-functional status meetings (mostly technical), ensuring transparent communication and timely issue resolution.
• Foster strong cross-functional relationships and manage expectations effectively.
• Establish and enforce robust quality control processes for mobile apps and e-commerce solutions.

4. Communication and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, plans, and reports.
• Generate regular progress reports for cross-functional stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

• Understanding and respect for diversity and inclusion
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering)
• 4+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, with a strong background in mobile app and e-commerce projects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exceptional technical knowledge related to mobile app development and e-commerce platforms
• Excellent communication skills
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is advantageous
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Collaborative mindset with excellent leadership and organizational abilities
• Proven track record of working well with development teams

Benefits

As of 01/01/2023, the expected annual compensation range for this position is $160-180K. Actual pay within this range will be based upon several factors, including without limitation education, work experience, certifications, geographic pay differentials, market conditions, and other business and organizational needs. The Company anticipates that the reasonably expected salary for this position could change in the future and, therefore, the Company retains the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for the position for various reasons, including the Company’s business needs.
