The Rewards team is looking for a Vice President Product Owner to support a product area within the Chase Rewards Product. The Chase Rewards product team is responsible for delivering loyalty user experiences that enable our customers to earn and redeem their ultimate rewards points. The Rewards Product Owner will be responsible for making our products better, smarter and more personalized by leveraging a deep understanding of customer needs, data intelligence, and how to create excellence at scale. You will define and support the strategic vision for the modernization path of a platform product as you build new customer centric Rewards journeys. You will drive the planning, sequencing and implementation of these initiatives to drive end-state transformation based on value, impact and time to market. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has the ability to operate within a highly matrixed organization, effectively influencing and communicating cross-functionally across Product, Design, Data and Technology teams to drive business results.
Job responsibilities:
Determining the product delivery and horizontal roadmap that delivers incremental value across multiple releases; maintain an evergreen product roadmap based on changing market needs, customer needs and opportunities
Partnering with our tech teams within their sprint cycles to be sure all epics and stories are clearly defined with specific acceptance criteria and delivered on time. Help drive the completion of business epics and the removal of blockers
Grow into a subject matter expert on Rewards and Loyalty user experience as well as your assigned technology product area
Provide support on weekly reporting and program update efforts across a variety of forums
Lead the strategic product vision; determining the sequence and timing of implementation to delivery incremental value. Develop and execute a roadmap that brings your vision to life by balancing foundational capability advancement with creative, experimentation-driven learning
Use collaboration storytelling to communicate and drive cross-functional alignment for your work
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
7+ years of product or relationship management or relevant experience as well as record of individual technical achievement. Proven track record of delivery.
Ability to synthesize large amounts of information in order to inform and make decisions quickly, take risks, course-correct and adapt, and constantly iterate on your approach
Ability to make recommendations and progress in the face of ambiguous and at times overlapping priorities, and clearly communicate those ideas. Ability to communicate openly, be transparent, be open and receptive to diverse ideas from different stakeholders, with the ability to influence and motivate
Flexibility to influence and partner across a large, highly matrixed organization and drive change through promoting a culture of collaboration across organizational boundaries
Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to present facts, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise and convincing manner to cross-functional partners
Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and calmness under pressure and adapt to unexpected circumstances. Capable of navigating in dynamic and complex organization environments
Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team
Experience with agile product development techniques and continuous integration philosophies and practices for speed to market is a plus; experience with Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint) JIRA, Confluence Tools.
Bachelors degree required
