Escobedo Group is a luxury custom home builder based in the greater Austin area and is seeking a Technical Designer to join Escobedo Group in the Stone Mill division.
Escobedo Group is a company at the forefront of innovation in luxury residential construction, fabrication, and design. Our collaborative atmosphere allows us to create unique and meaningful projects that have a lasting effect on the built environment. We are also 95% vertically integrated, performing most aspects of the construction process in-house, resulting in more quality control and value to custom designs.

This position will require exceptional attention to detail and organization, strong problem-solving skills, an inquisitive mindset, and a proactive approach. Our ideal candidate is eager to contribute and engage with the full design, fabrication, and build process.
As a new team member, you will be assisting with design coordination, document production, BIM management, detailing, and quality control. There are many more aspects to our business that you can be involved with if you have the passion and desire to learn.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Degree or certification relevant to architecture, fabrication, or construction preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years in the architecture and/or construction industry with construction experience valued
- Highly skilled in Revit, proficient in AutoCAD, Proficient in Rhino, MS Office Suite, and able to learn new software as needed.
- Model parts in a variety of CAD software, including AutoCAD and Inventor
- Create submittals and production drawings with accurate dimensions and details
- Create tickets for production with callouts for finish, covered faces, etc.
- Superior presentation & communication skills
- Able to work under tight deadlines with quality deliverables
- Able to work independently and in a collaborative environment
- Preferred Qualification: Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a plus but not required

Starting pay based on experience: ~$60-90K
