Escobedo Group is a luxury custom home builder based in the greater Austin area and is seeking a Technical Design Coordinator to join Escobedo Group in the DARIO Panelized division.
Escobedo Group is a company at the forefront of innovation in luxury residential construction, fabrication, and design. Our collaborative atmosphere allows us to create unique and meaningful projects that have a lasting effect on the built environment. We are also 95% vertically integrated, performing most aspects of the construction process in-house, resulting in more quality control and value to custom designs. This is a highly collaborative atmosphere with great responsibilities for every team member. We are seeking to bring on a designer who values craft, quality, artistry, technology, and innovation. This position will require exceptional attention to detail and organization, strong problem-solving skills, an inquisitive mindset, and a proactive approach.
Our ideal candidate is eager to contribute and engage with the full design, fabrication, and build process. Using our Dario Panelized System we are creating and contributing to innovations in high-end custom residential construction.
As a new team member, you will be assisting with design coordination, document production, BIM management, detailing, and quality control. There are many more aspects to our business that you can be involved with if you have the passion and desire to learn.
Desired Skills and Experience
Degree or certification relevant to architecture, fabrication, or construction preferred
Minimum 2-3 years in the architecture and/or construction industry with construction experience valued
Range of experience in residential, commercial, mixed-use
Highly skilled in Revit, BIM, proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and able to learn new software as needed.
Superior presentation & communication skills
Able to work under tight deadlines with quality deliverables
Able to work independently and in a collaborative environment
Familiarity with IBC, IRC, and municipal codes/ordinances

Starting pay based on experience: ~$60-90K
