Job Overview

As a Department Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Tech Training Department. Your responsibilities will include managing a 150-car fleet, coordinating organizational meetings, supporting training centers and providing support for both national and world skill competitions. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Fleet Management
    • Oversee the condition of a 150-car fleet.
    • Coordinate vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

 

  • Organizational Meetings
    • Schedule and coordinate internal organizational meetings.
    • Prepare meeting agendas and distribute relevant materials.
    • Record and distribute meeting minutes.
    • Ensure meeting spaces are set up and equipped as needed.

 

  • Skill Competitions Support
    • Provide administrative support for national and world skill competitions.
    • Coordinate logistics, travel arrangements, and accommodations for participants.
    • Assist in the preparation of competition materials and documentation.
    • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.

 

  • Training Center Support
    • Provide support for training centers interior design, such as current vehicle pictures, tables, desks,              chairs and stands.
    • Distribute instructors’ apparel, primarily shirts

 

  • Communication
    • Act as a point of contact for department-related inquiries.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and competition participants.
    • Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information.

 

  • Mentorship program and Student LMS administration support
    • Act as a point of contact for department-related inquiries.
    • Asset donation support
    • Assist Hyundai Careers recruitment liaison with website support.

 

  • Qualifications
    • Proven experience in fleet management and logistics coordination.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite and scheduling software.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate may not have been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At MSXi, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80k to $85k based on current experience.
