About ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a campus of ECU Health Medical Center
ECU Health Beaufort Hospital is located in Washington and serves as a campus ECU Health Medical Center, our Level I Trauma Center in Greenville. The 142-bed full-service hospital offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services including medical, surgical, intensive care, emergency, pediatrics and women’s services. In addition there is a lab, diagnostic imaging services, physical and respiratory therapy. The facility also features the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, offering leading-edge chemotherapy and radiation therapy, among other cancer services.
Position Summary
- Basic patient care
- Process radiographs
- Prepare and sort films
- Order/maintain supplies
- Sterile techniques
- Answers phones/takes messages
- Assists technologists and physicians
- Utilize RMS, PC, computer terminals
- Maintain patient logs
- Work in various areas of the department.
Minimum Requirements
- High School or equivalent- or higher.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support is required (issued by the American Heart Association).
- 1 - 2 years experience as a Nursing Assistant, Patient Escorter or other patient care experience is required.

- Primary Shift: PRN (as needed); Rotating
- Rotating Shifts: 7:00am - 3:30pm, 3:00pm - 11:30pm or 10:00am - 10:00pm, to include weekends and holidays
- On Call: No
- Weekends: Yes
