Job Description:
Overview: As a Technical Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients (Hunter) while also nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients (Farmer). You will be responsible for understanding client needs, presenting tailored solutions, and ultimately closing deals to achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Hunter:
- Prospect for new clients by utilizing various lead generation techniques including cold calling, networking events, and digital outreach.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand prospective clients' IT requirements and pain points.
- Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value of our MSP services.
- Drive the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to identify target markets and develop strategies for penetrating new segments.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
Farmer:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and exceptional service delivery.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their evolving needs and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, serving as a trusted advisor on IT-related matters.
- Collaborate with the service delivery team to ensure alignment between client expectations and service delivery standards.
- Monitor client satisfaction levels through surveys, feedback mechanisms, and regular communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the IT services or technology industry.
- Strong prospecting and networking skills with the ability to open doors and build relationships with key decision-makers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of MSP services, IT infrastructure, and cloud solutions is a plus.
