The Quality Team Leader is responsible for learning and maintaining a qualified skill set on all jobs within their assigned. It is the responsibility of the Team Leader to ensure all Team Members within assigned area are trained to Hyundai Mobis company standards and promoting safety within their team. The Team Leader performs a variety of tasks to meet quality standards. This position must communicate with Team Members and Group Leader in assigned team as well as other areas to ensure goals and standards are met.
Responsibilities:(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
- Promote Team Member understanding of company vision and goals.
- Create and maintain a positive morale, keeping the Team Members spirits enhanced.
- Ensure Quality Team Members have the proper tools and equipment to perform their jobs.
- Ensure that all Quality Team Members equipment and workstations are cleaned daily.
- Observe and provide coaching to Team Members in the workstation to ensure processes standards are being followed.
- Daily training of team members to prevent defect.
- Provide solutions and alternative methods for resolving Quality issues related Mobis parts.
- Consistently communicate to Team Members on expectations, performance, and any changes.
- Provide and maintain necessary daily Quality data and reports.
- Seek opportunity-for-improvement in safety, quality, productivity, cost and delivery.
- Conduct or participate in team and safety meetings and promote safety within the workplace.
- Communication with the production team to improve product quality and reduce defects.
- All other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Required Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or 2 years equivalent industry specific experience required
- 1 to 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and conflicts resolutions skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate Team Members
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Experience in Just in Sequence in Automotive industry
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Domestic / International travel required
Working Conditions:
- Office and production line, some walking and standing within and between buildings
- Working hours: Can be changed after the start of mass production
