Salary Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Niles, OH
Hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (with overtime opportunities)
Wage: Starting at $18 per hour
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our team at our Niles, OH location. The Forklift Operator will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring the efficient movement of materials to and from the paint line and throughout the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to transport containers of parts to the paint line.
- Remove containers from the paint line once emptied and move them to the proper location in the warehouse.
- Assist with unloading materials at the end of the paint line as needed.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on the forklift and ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role required.
- Valid forklift certification/license.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
