Form of workEaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Team Lead- 3rd Shift.
Shift Hours: 10pm - 6:30am Monday - Friday (Sunday night - Thursday night). Candidate must be open to being trained on 1st or 2nd shift hours for up to 3 months.
The hourly rate for this position is $29.05 per hour, plus a $1/ hour increase for 3rd Shift Premium.

What you'll do:
In this function you will:
• Drive improvements in Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory (SQDCI).
• Material handle for production team such as anticipating and fetching material based on needs.
• Prepare a daily plan prior to the shift-start tier meeting.
• Lead tier meetings and keep the tier board updated with current information.
• Work overtime as needed including working Saturdays.
• Regular coordination with department Supervisors on priorities.
• Reallocate associates based on need.
• Work closely with supervisors to resolve issues and follow-up on preventative and corrective actions.
• Assist employees with technical or process issues such as inventory discrepancies, information, drawings, and procedures.
• Perform critical jobs or tasks to cover manning shortages as needed.
• Assure that the appropriate equipment and tools are provided, adequately maintained, and safely operated.
• Act as a backup in the absence of the supervisor.
• Assist in new hire onboarding and training.
• Attend leadership training sessions.
• Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma/GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 1 year of previous production experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred qualifications:
• 2+ years of previous production experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting.
• 6+ months of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with welding aluminum and steel.
