Form of workThe Team Lead- 2nd shift is responsible for motivating a team to meet daily goals. The individual will communicate requirements to the team, monitor and encourage safe practices for team members, and will be responsible for training and providing support to the Supervisor.
Schedule: Sunday Thursday 12pm-8:30pm.
Scheduledhours may extend later due to businessneed changes.
Team Lead Job Responsibilities:
- Assigns tasks to team and ensures that the number of workers optimizes the effectiveness of workflow to achieve maximum productivity
- Monitors the performance of the group and individuals to ensure that established goals are met
- Assists Supervisor with documentation, job set ups and paperwork
- Notifies Supervisor of any problems including, but not limited to: out-of-stock items, performance issues, etc
- Provides training for specific and or job specific tasks

Qualifications:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while under pressure and work in a team environment
- Must be able to provide leadership to team members on various projects
- Strong communication skills in writing and verbal
- Self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision
- Previous warehouse/distribution experience preferred
- Must be able to lift and carry/move up to 50 lbs
- Previous experience using WMS (Warehouse Management System) preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work overtime specificallyduring Peak season (November & December) is required.
