• As an Art Teacher, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education as you work with students to create projects emulating significant artists and styles as well as instruct on essential art vocabulary, basic art history, and elements of art. • As a Computer Teacher, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education as you introduce students to basic computer use, keyboarding, cyber-safety, and the use of various software programs for academic purposes. • As an English Language Arts Teacher, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education as you help develop skilled readers and writers, critical listeners, and accomplished speakers. And you will do meaningful work that makes a difference for our students as you:
• As a General Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education as you motivate students to achieve academic excellence. You will provide direct instruction using an accelerated, back-to-basics curriculum including Spalding (reading & writing) and enVision Math as you:
• As a Gifted Student Teacher, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education as you instruct academically advanced students with challenging curriculum that expands their critical thinking, problem-solving, independent study, advanced communication, and strategic thinking skills. And you will do meaningful work that makes a difference for our students as you:
• As a Math Teacher, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education as you help students understand that mathematical problems have an absolute answer requiring precision, accuracy and fluency through a spiral curriculum reinforced by mathematical practices. And you will do meaningful work that makes a difference for our students as you:
• As a Music Teacher, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education as you help students develop and refine skills learned in elementary general music and expand their talents into band, orchestra, choir, musical theater, music exploration, piano and guitar programs. And you will do meaningful work that makes a difference for our students as you:
• As a Physical Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education as you develop student capabilities in five essential core fitness components of muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, cardiovascular strength and body composition as you share the importance of sportsmanship and staying active. And you will do meaningful work that makes a difference for our students as you:
• As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education as you enable students to construct and understand scientific concepts through investigation and analysis with use of laboratory equipment, student readings, and interactive technology. And you will do meaningful work that makes a difference for our students as you:
• As a Spanish Language Teacher, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education as you instruct students in Spanish and guide them through the development of fluency in listening, speaking, reading and writing in Spanish. And you will do meaningful work that makes a difference for our students as you:
• As a Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education as you connect and work one-on-one with students needing special support to understand both their capabilities and disabilities as you develop and apply personalized learning approaches and programs that support their growth, progress, and success. And you will do meaningful work that makes a difference for our students as you:
• As a Social Studies Teacher, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education as you guide students through world and U.S. history and geography while they learn about responsible citizenship and America’s place in global history. And you will do meaningful work that makes a difference for our students as you:
• Create a classroom environment that cultivates learning, engages the interests of the students and allows them to perform at their very best.
• Utilize direct instruction techniques to guide our students through a variety of activities designed to promote the social, physical and intellectual growth that is needed for primary school success!
• Explore individual needs and give side-by-side support to discover how each student best learns and develop personalized solutions to each students’ learning style and abilities.
• Master our proven curriculum as you implement our philosophy of education and guide the learning process and students toward the achievement of the curriculum goals.
• Evaluate each student’s learning capabilities and celebrate student accomplishments,
• Encourage students to uphold our values and model mature behavior and good character in the classroom, on the school campus, and throughout their lives.

Meet the qualifications that set you up for success

• Holding a bachelor’s degree, a current teaching certificate within the state the position is located (alternative options available for those with bachelor's degree only).
• Have proven proficiency and experience in the subject of focus and specialty area of this teaching position.

• Being active in the role when light lifting, sitting, standing, moving throughout the campus and traveling to other campuses as required.
