SalaryElementary School Secretary with responsibilities at Hugh Gallagher Elementary. Full Time, 210 days (August-June).
Starting Date: August 1, 2024, after interview process.
Qualifications: 1.) Knowledge of office and secretarial practices, procedures and safety regulations. Basic accounting systems and procedures commonly used at school sites. Experience with infinite Campus preferred. 2.) Ability to develop and maintain an organized and efficient filing system, learn and interpret specific rules, laws, and policies and apply them with good judgement. 3.) Two to Five years increasingly responsible secretarial experience involving frequent public contact.

Responsibilities: 1.) Proper receptionist and phone etiquette and techniques. 2.) Monitor and submit reports in a timely fashion. 3.) Thorough working knowledge of word processing and data base applications, such as those specific to school attendance reporting.
