Job Description: The ideal candidates should have a positive attitude, good work ethic, willingness to
learn, be able to work well with peers, and have good supervision skills. Previous
experience working with school aged students is desirable.
Schedule & Pay: Part-time and full-time positions are available. Part-time and full-time schedules
may vary. Working hours include 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Pay rate
depends on education and experience.
Responsibilities:
Providing homework assistance
Providing safe, fun, educational, and recreational activities
Supervising indoor and outdoor play activities
Attending staff meetings
Using conflict resolution strategies to solve problems between students
Qualifications:
Applicants must have reliable transportation and be able to successfully pass a
background check.
An associate or bachelor's degree from a two or four year accredited college or
university in Education, Child Development, or a closely related field (Required
for Teacher Position)
Excellence in homework assistance for Kindergarten to 8th grade students
Excellence in interpersonal relationships and communication
A passion for working with young people
A desire to collaborate with peers and supervisor
Training in conflict resolution is not required, but highly desirable
