Liberty Healthcare operates a 10-bed acute psychiatric hospital within the Maguire Correctional Facility, a San Mateo County jail located in Redwood City, CA.
This unit provides high quality psychiatric care to adults who are justice-involved and experiencing mental illness.
As a Recreation Therapist with Liberty Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to create and lead engaging therapeutic recreational activities for your clients while working alongside a compassionate, skilled and dedicated team of mental health and ancillary professionals.
As a full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare in this role, you can expect:
- Starting pay between $72,000 and $93,000 (depending on qualifications)

You are a good fit for this position if you have a bachelor's or master's degree in Recreation Therapy.
California Board of Recreation and Park Certification and/or Certification Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) by the NCTRC is required.
