Job Status: Nonprofit seeks an awesome, fun-loving, Part-time, mobile Art Teacher or Art Therapist to serve older adults and children with challenges in nursing homes, special needs classrooms and summer camps.
Payment:
Per session Rate: $35 - $60 per session--includes implementation, planning & documentation. (Higher rates for certified therapists and for long term commitments.)

Fine Art Miracles Inc (FAM), is a well established 501(c)3 nonprofit, with a mission to improve the lives of people of all ages with various challenges. We offer the benefits of Creative Art Therapies and Social Robotics to our communities’ most vulnerable members.
In Western PA (Pittsburgh & the surrounding regions, including Westmoreland County) FAM provides all services: Art, Art Therapy, Music, Music Therapy, Movement & Music, Dance & Movement Therapy, Drumming Exercise, Storytelling, Pet Therapy, FAMbot Learning and Multi-Sensory Sessions.
We are looking for those who will serve our clients where they are--this means reliable transportation (and sometimes a Road Warrior Attitude) is necessary!
As a FAM Staff Member you will work with our clients at their facilities, do a little online documentation (a short google form), and receive payment (direct deposit) at the end of the month for all of the sessions you've implemented. Sessions are mostly scheduled weekday working hours and occasionally, can be evenings. FAM Staff are responsible for planning and providing engaging sessions for all FAM clientele. We deliver our services to our clients where they are, which means you will be driving. And, you must be vaccinated.

Job Duties and Expectations:
- Facilitate the delivery of Creative Expression/Art-making.
- Attend and participate in All Staff meetings when able, clearly communicating any needs with the CEO
- Design all classes for various capabilities
- Ensure that all documentation is completed within 24 hours of a class's completion
- Remain aware of and adhere to the established program timeline
- Maintain professional appearance, demeanor and interaction with co-workers, on-site professional contacts, relatives, and other points of contact necessary to conduct programs
Reporting Structure:
All staff will report to the CEO.
Job Qualifications:
- Strong desire to learn and share knowledge is required
- Must have a car and be willing to travel to client locations
- Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (Master’s degree a plus)
- Must have a gmail address and computer (Mac laptop preferred)
- Competent with Email, Google Drive, and Google Documents
- Excellent and effective written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills
- Lesson plan and curriculum writing experience a plus
- Attentive to detail as to uphold the quality and goals set by FAM
- Must be able to adapt to flexible work hours and environment with evolving program priorities
