Tax Provision Staff (Hybrid)

The Tax Provision Staff role is a corporate tax position focused on harnessing tax technologies, enterprise solutions and business analytics during the preparation of the Tax Provision. The Tax Provision Staff reports directly to the Lewisville, Texas-based Tax Provision Senior. The Tax Provision Staff is an integral part of our Tax Provision Team and will assist in providing tax insight and support to our growing team of Tax, Finance and Operations colleagues during periods of acquisitive growth for the Company. Our developmental culture will also foster a broad, fundamental tax technical experience in federal, state, and foreign tax research, ASC 740 compliance and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing the global income Tax Provision and disclosures for interim and annual SEC financial statements.
• Assist in preparing Tax Provisions for carve-out financial statements.
• Track and review valuation allowances and items related to ASC 740-10.
• Work with Tax Compliance Team to calculate and review post-compliance true ups.
• Maintenance of Tax Provision workpapers and systems, including OTP and Teamwork.
• Maintain strong SOX control environments and ensure the quality of audit documentation.
• Prepare tax account balance reconciliations.
• Team with the Director of Tax Reporting and the Tax Provision Senior to perform ASC 740 process assessments, solution designs, development, implementation, configuration, and testing.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Tax from an accredited college or university.
• 2-3 years experience
• Preference given to candidates with previous experience working with OneSource Tax Provision and Viewpoint, but not required.
• Some working knowledge of ASC 740, Accounting for Income Taxes a plus.
• Strong research and communication skills, with the ability to lead team discussions.
