Tax Preparer (Seasonal)

Virtual Tax Business is seeking experienced Tax Preparers. Primary responsibilities will be to prepare 1040 individual and small business tax returns for Tax Season Jan-April 2024.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organization skills and highly accurate data entry. Compensation is based on a commission of return preparation fee and commission split is negotiable. The more returns that you prepare the more money you can make. Incentives and bonuses are given in April 2024 for Tax Preparers with 100 or more completed returns .

This position is perfect for someone who wants to work from home and make good money . And you can be your own boss by working seasonally , occasionally , full time or part time .

Our positions are remote access only . Training will be provided virtually and person to person if needed with support available anytime . Completion of tax preparation course required .

You must have your own laptop or desktop computer and be required to use our online portal .

TAX PREPARERS JOB DESCRIPTION

• Advertising and Recruit of new clients .
• Setting up meetings virtually or person to person
• Preparing and submitting tax returns for clients using the company portal.
• Handling communication from clients and tax authorities .
• Auditing all tax forms for completeness and accuracy including retrieving a copy of clients ( Valid ID, Birth Certificate , Social Security card , and tax documents via email , person to person or by having the client to upload their documents to our company app which is the fastest , easiest and safest way .
• Providing future tax planning to clients and offering other services like credit repair , insurance or book keeping services for small businesses .
• Always providing excellent customer service to secure repeat business and expand client base.
• Analyzing tax data submitted by the client to maximize the outcome for the client

We are looking for a goal-driven Tax Preparer to be responsible for advising clients, analyzing tax data submitted by clients, and filing and submitting tax returns. Tax Preparers should ensure confidentiality, provide excellent service to promote repeat business, and provide future tax planning to clients.

To ensure success as a Tax Preparer, you should be knowledgeable of legislation and regulations, provide excellent service to clients, and maintain the high standard set by the organization. Ultimately, a top Tax Preparer will be detail-oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills to
Tax Preparer Responsibilities:

• Setting up virtual meetings with clients .
• Advising clients about the tax preparation process.
• Preparing and submitting tax returns for clients.
• Handling communication from clients and tax authorities.
• Auditing all tax forms for completeness and accuracy.
• Providing future tax planning to clients.
• Securing repeat business and expanding the client base.
• Analyzing tax data submitted by the client to maximize the outcome for the client.
• Signing income tax returns on behalf of individual and business clients.

Tax Preparer Requirements:

• Registered Tax Return Preparer Test completed.
• Registration with the IRS with a valid PTIN.
• Experience preferred but not required will provide training.
• Computer literate.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must ensure confidentiality.
• Must own a laptop and Cell Phone

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary, Full-time, Commission

Pay: $10,000.00 - $40,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
