What you'll do
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns
- Assist with sales and use tax audits
- Perform monthly account analysis
- Computation of Monthly Use Tax
- Preparation of monthly ACH Uploads
- Handle oral and written correspondence from field personnel.
- Respond to taxing jurisdiction notices
- Assist with Tax Research Projects
- Assist in special projects.
- Willingness and ability to learn Federal and State Income Tax Preparation
What you need
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Required
- One to two years' experience working in a Corporate Tax Department or Public Accounting Firm
- Proficiency with Excel Required
- Knowledge of OneSource Tax Software beneficial
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work Hybrid (during normal business hours) our downtown corporate office is located in the Aon Center.
