Tasting Room Associate

Frequency Wines is seeking a part-time and/or full-time Tasting Room Associate who will work alongside our Tasting Room Manager on all aspects of the Tasting Room operations. We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and energetic team player who is passionate and knowledgeable about wine to join our staff and family. We are focused on providing excellent customer service by creating a professional and educational wine tasting experience for all of our guests. We aim to passionately promote the winery and brand, create a memorable guest experience, and work as a team to achieve challenging sales goals. Experience in the wine industry is desirable but not required.

Must be available to work 3-5 days a week including weekends. Our Tasting Room is located in downtown Santa Barbara, in the Presidio neighborhood located at 804 Anacapa St., Santa Barbara, CA 93101.

Qualifications
· Ability to work and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment while maintaining a high level of detail.
· Strong knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm about the world of wine.
· Desire to provide the ultimate in hospitality and customer care.
· Willingness to develop professional sales skills to work toward exceeding monthly sales goals while generating repeat business and building lasting relationships with wine club members and regular customers.
· Professional appearance and demeanor
· Must be able to be flexible with work hours and work weekends and Holidays.
· Must be 21 years old.
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
· Must work to meet winery management monthly sales objectives and goals.
· Effectively suggests and sells wine to customers.
· Acquires and maintains thorough knowledge of winery and its wines.
· Willingness to perform all duties as assigned by management of the winery.

Starting hourly is competitive DOE, with tips, commissions and incentives.
