Tasting Room & Cafe Associate/Server

Job Overview:

We are a busy Tasting Room and Cafe offering a full lunch menu along with Estate wine tasting, 11am-5pm daily. Our Tasting Room is a fast paced, high volume location and we enjoy a number of out-of-town visitors, wonderful and supportive locals, and upwards of 4k wine club members. On any given week we’re happy to host anywhere between 300-500 visitors with excellent taste in wine!

The ideal server joining our fam will thrive in a fast paced environment, be a fantastic team member and have a love of wine, food and guest service. While experience in food and wine is a huge plus, we are always willing to train the right person. We pride ourselves on being approachable and friendly, keeping a traditional Paso “vibe” in our wine tasting experience.

Along with our Cafe and Tasting Room our property features a number of exciting opportunities for our guests such as; an eight room Inn, large events center catering up to 400 people, E-Bike rentals, antique motorcycle tours, archery/axe throwing and many other draws that help bring tons of great guests to the property.

If you’re a server who enjoys the food and wine aspect of service, more traditional 9-5 work hours and is attracted to restaurant style $ in a wine based environment then we’d like to talk to you about joining the Cass family.

Responsibilities:
- Take food and beverage orders from guests over the phone or in person
- Ensure accuracy of orders and verify that all items are included
- Provide friendly and efficient service while adhering to company policies and procedures
- Handle cash transactions using a cash register or POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, kitchen, and storage areas
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Address guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner

Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Familiarity with operating a cash register or POS system is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
