Task Lead - Digital Communications Support

HighPoint professionals focus on helping government agencies implement their most critically strategic initiatives. The role of Task Lead - Digital Communications Support contributes to HighPoint by supporting the strategy, design, creation, production, and delivery of digital communications and outreach campaigns via FAA channels in support of the entire FAA. The Task Lead assists in creative output and processes needed to define, create, deliver, and manage that output.

This opportunity is in the proposal stage and is contingent upon successful contract award.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to analyze social outreach using metric applications to cite in reports on the communications impressions and reach.
  • Drive campaign audience segmentation and target selection.
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with FAA internal stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of Agile development methodology.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide strategic and tactical support for news content development for the FAA.gov public website, My.FAA.gov, and Employees.FAA.gov websites.
  • Develop, manage, and execute integrated, multi-channel communications campaigns to generate awareness, engagement, and goodwill with target audiences in public and employee populations, including communications through FAA's established channels such as YouTube, GovDelivery, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Develop communication plans and related documents, such as drafting news articles and other communications, in support of major outreach efforts and campaigns.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute a social media strategic plan and program to promote FAA public affairs and employee initiatives.
  • Support social media activities, including creating podcast episodes, blogs, social networking, social bookmarking, and website submissions as well as participating in several online communities, such as Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn, on a consistent basis.
  • Prepare and deliver pre-campaign briefings, provide the necessary information to the copywriting team, and lead the creative process to ensure each campaign is a success.
  • Work together with the web analytical team to ensure objectives are met and adjust campaign activity as needed.
  • Provide detailed analysis and reporting of each campaign to FAA stakeholders, including interpretation, commentary, and recommendations.
  • Develop the FocusFAA content to include articles and stories, provide research, conduct employee interviews, distribute content, and report on outreach analytics.
  • Advise the FAA LOB and SOs to improve the content and presentations on their websites and on FAA web policies and best practices.
  • Contribute to web content migration efforts and manage the FAA.gov website via the Drupal content management tool and ColdFusion.
  • Cooperate with the FAA's AIT office to build special pages and components in Drupal and coordinate development work with AIT using the Agile-development methodology.
  • Cooperate with AIT to build components in Adobe CQ5 and AEM.
  • Assist the Project Manager with team goals, schedules, budgeting, and project management.

EDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience.
  • Experience with Adobe CQ5 and ColdFusion legacy, Adobe AEM, and Drupal
