Description:
Conducts interviews to recruit prospective employees and refers job applicants to specific job openings. Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, physical and personal qualifications, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral. Prepares rating on applicants, makes recommendations on starting salaries, and provides applicants with information on the company. May administer tests and interpret results, check references, arrange transportation of selected applicants, extend formal job offers, work with outside agencies and vendors, etc.

***Up to 100% remote, resource will need to be onsite at NNS, for first week of training**

This person may be required to drive to local recruiting events.
This person will:

Prepares rating on applicants, makes recommendations on starting salaries, and provides applicants with information on the company. May administer tests and interpret results, check references, arrange transportation of selected applicants, extend formal job offers, work with outside agencies and vendors, etc.
- Responsible for full cycle recruiting process to fill open positions and meet staffing goals.
- Sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, developing and extending offers, and ensuring the stakeholders have a pleasant experience.
- Develop relationships and partner with hiring managers and business leaders.
- Work closely with Hiring Managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies utilizing all tools such as direct sourcing, online resume databases, social networking, and job events.
- Work with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
- Regular follow up with the hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
***We’re looking for a candidate who has more varied recruiting middle to senior experiences from trades to professional with some focus on strategic.
Working knowledge in the importance of a branding a company to attract potential candidates and keeping candidates knowing when to keep the candidate engaged while going through the recruiting and interview process. Some evening hours expected in order to make contact with candidates who are not available during the day.
***Looking for DOD recruiting experience that actually has had to go look for candidates (so a “military recruiter” is not the best candidate unless they have also worked as a civilian and have experience with hard to fill)
***Looking for strategic recruiting to actually be in the resume and not strategic planning
***Understanding Military terms and rank is a plus
Civilian recruiting is acceptable, however having experience in hard to fill not just recruiting in for professionals
**Heavy experience with LinkedIn, Dice, and Clearancejobs is a plus vs Indeed, Monster, ZipRecruiter, etc
