The Talent Acquisition Specialist will research, develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for the organization. - Drives the Talent Acquisition process, including the requisition approval process, posting openings on the Company website, using preferred posting platforms, ensuring postings are accurate and compliant, screening resumes, identifying appropriate staffing resources, planning, and conducting phone screens and interviews.
- Owns the Talent Acquisition objectives and key results (OKRs) metrics by ensuring data is accurate and compiling weekly and monthly reporting. Facilitates weekly report out to leadership team.
- Builds relationships with the management team, third parties, government agencies, and other critical resources and stakeholders.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external third parties to ensure our recruitment communications are on brand.
- Creates a positive and respectful experience for candidates, hiring managers and other team members.
- Uses Dayforce and Tenstreet in an efficient and effective manner. This includes tracking and updating candidate and requisition status, running reports, and communicating with new team members and internal stakeholders for onboarding tasks such as I-9 forms, direct deposit, etc.
- Works with vendors to ensure an efficient pre-employment process is completed by the assigned deadlines including drug screens, physicals, criminal background checks and other identified pre-employment requirements.
- Keeps candidates engaged throughout the pre-employment process and ensures a smooth transition to day one. Assists new team member and hiring manager with onboarding tasks.
- Creates accurate offer letters and extends/negotiates offers on behalf of the hiring manager.
- Coordinates job fairs as appropriate and assists with greenfield and acquisition related recruitment activities.
- Provides training to managers on behavioral interviewing, legal compliance responsibilities.
- Coordinates temporary staffing needs on behalf of managers and ensures appropriate third-party vendor agreements are created and adhered to.
- Collaborates with the People Operations Specialist to ensure the EnviroServe Talent Acquisition section of the company website is refreshed with accurate information and appropriate professional image.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Recruiter/Talent Acquisition role responsible for company-wide positions. Experience in the Industrial – Environmental industries is a plus. Must have high volume hourly team member recruitment experience.
- Excellent technology skills including HRIS and ATS (preferably with Ceridian Dayforce and Tenstreet), Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams and Sharepoint.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, evolving environment.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and documentation.
