Systems Engineer/Architect

• Provide computer hardware and software support for a global network of integrated security systems.
• Support a range of software and hardware servers running Software House C*Cure and C*Cure Central, Hirsch Velocity, Citrix, SNMPc, Active Directory, MS Windows Server, MS Defender for Endpoint (MDE), VMware, WSUS, IP Security Center, SCCM, SolarWinds, Tanium and Splunk.
• Support HP and Dell server hardware, RAID hardware and software configurations, GHOST, HP ILO and other applications in support of NSM network and systems.
• Prepare baseline security configurations, using the client's baseline model, for Windows computers and servers.
• Assist with network and systems security oversight and guidance.
• Support NetApps redundant server capabilities.
• Assist field personnel with server maintenance and other troubleshooting and fault resolutions on computer hardware and software systems.
• Configure SNMP traps, scripts and other status monitoring and reporting software.
• Advise on improvements to enhance the reliability of the network and systems
• Provide vision and direction in cloud computing and virtualization ensuring that the system architecture aligns with the client’s goals.
• Provide leadership regarding system design, architecture, and integration.
• Lead system design activities or reviews system designs to ensure that applications solutions will exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment.
• Monitor utilization, capacity growth, and performance of VMs and physical servers across several sites.
• Ensure the integrity and security of the VMs, physical servers, and ESX hosts.
• Serve as technical resource for team, providing advice, training and technical support for various projects and day-to-day operations.
• Lead project teams in the appropriate use and maintenance of information technology.

• A degree in the field of computer science or a related discipline is preferred.
• Microsoft Technical Certifications are a plus.
• Three years or more of directly related experience is preferred.
• Must have experience writing and executing scripts.
• Experience with SAN/NAS systems, SQL, Symantec.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently with little to no oversight.
