In the Systems Analyst role, you will:
- Support the SEA 05S Group Director onsite at the Washington Navy Yard.
- Maintain Group Director Calendar-Manage executive schedules, engagements, and day to day plans.
- Provide support for Technical Warrant Holders development of scopes and pyramids, processing engineering letters, distribute and maintain TWH letters.
- Work with the 05S2 lead for support with Ship Design Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMPs), Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs), and Execution Plans.
- Provide Technical and Engineering support to the In-Service Systems Engineering group.
- Respond to queries and maintain databases, coordinate, and facilitate meetings and track any actions.
- Support the SEA 05 Systems Engineering Group, and indirectly other SEA 05 Groups, i.e., Ship Design Managers, Technical Authorities, and SEA 05-related Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
- Assist in the development and maintenance of specifications, standards, processes, tools, and training.
- Assist in tracking investigative technical review teams.
- Support engineers in responses for ship incidents.
- Support SEA 05S TWH and engineers in processing engineering letters and files, maintaining a repository of electronic and physical documents for posterity.
- Provide support for high-level meetings including the development of meeting logistics, meeting announcements, meeting agendas, briefing materials and develop meeting minutes.
- Maintain digital archive of all SEA 05S technical and program correspondence.
- Manage and assist with onboarding SEA 05S employees.
- Interface with the SEA 05 Front Office for meeting coordination.
- Format, serialize, and route outgoing correspondence; track, manage, and file incoming correspondence.
- Coordinate Travel Arrangements in DTS and manage visit requests in DISS for all SEA 05S employees.
- Manage classified materials, confidential, and sensitive information in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Coordinate and execute other special projects as well as perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A current or active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Zero to two years experience.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- The ability to provide onsite support three or more days a week in the office.
- Experience working with engineers.
- Familiarity with FlankSpeed, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office tools.
- The ability to travel at least 10% of the time.
- You will have some System Analyst experience at NAVSEA.
