SUMMARY
Under general supervision, provides technical, analytical, and maintenance support of information or administration systems; and performs other related duties as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Which are not in any hierarchical order)
1. Designs, develops, tests, implements, trains and supports end users of technical applications.
2. Provides technical and analytical support for application modules utilized by a department or division.
3. Works with internal departments to determine technical needs and technology improvements.
4. Research and suggest technology solutions to help streamline client department functions.
5. Trains trainers or users on computer applications.
6. Installs, upgrades, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs software applications.
7. Responds to inquiries, instructs end users on site or over the telephone in the safe and efficient use of their computers and programs.
8. Maintains notes and logs on technical assistance provided.
9. Troubleshoots application issues and coordinates vendor relationships when needed.
10. Develops SQL queries and creates custom reports as needed.
11. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Salary
$69,811 annually - pay grade 64

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with a major in Computer Science, Math, Business Administration, or related field and two (2) years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience and knowledge of Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), highly desirable.

Employees deemed critical by the City but not needed for the initial preparation and/or continuation of emergency operations or for special work detail may be directed not to report to work, and given paid administrative leave or they may be reassigned to another location that best meet the needs of the City.
