Job Description: To promote a high level of customer service while assisting guests on the Gaming floor to enhance the gaming experience for guests and promote a pleasant working environment. To provide information regarding promotions and events within Bally's Tiverton.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate knowledge concerning the basic functions of video lottery terminals and game themes
- Circulate throughout the assigned room(s) on the Gaming floor, remaining visible to guests
- Demonstrate knowledge concerning Tiverton Casino services, features, attractions, promotions and special events to respond accurately to guest/member's inquiries
- Assist patrons with game problems
- Help patrons with directions and information
- Check machines for lights out, monitor problems, and other obvious problems and give list to Gaming Manager
- Be aware of suspicious activity and notify security of such
- Recognize signs of problem gaming and alcohol intoxication
- Follow the general rules & regulations of Tiverton Casino
- Follow the rules & regulations of the Dept. of Business Regulations and RI Lottery
- Have knowledge of Evacuation Procedures and any responsibilities
- Perform other tasks that shall be assigned from time to time
Requirements:
- Must demonstrate the ability to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure and/or when dealing with difficult situations and meeting deadline.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time and to frequently bend, reach and kneel.
- Must maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance, adhering to the Tiverton appearance standards.
- Must demonstrate regular, predictable attendance.
- Must be able to work late nights, weekends and holidays.
- Customer service experience preferred.
License Requirements:
Rhode Island Department of Business Regulations Gaming Operations License
Working Conditions:
