The Systems Analyst installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems. The system analyst is expected to perform system backups and recovery, maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity, relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. This role works under immediate supervision and primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. They typically reports to a project leader or manager and has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
The Systems Analyst will provide computer and peripheral support to end users. This includes, personal computers, servers, network hardware, and all other peripherals or devices. The successful candidate must possess a working knowledge of hardware and software standards, infrastructure and network equipment as well as be able to manage projects in support of company standards, provide timely, accurate, creative and cost effective solutions to user problems to ensure connectivity, and to provide computer, network and peripheral support to end users.

Experience
