ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibility A: Systems Analysis & Management
- Provide consultation and direction to end users (EU) and departmental leadership on workflow design and revision, process
- Assist Pathology leaders in understanding LIS configuration options and potential impact on operational efficiency and
- Perform maintenance for all assigned systems.
- Review proposed changes to LIS applications to ensure appropriate testing, validation, documentation and order of

- Establish new or maintain existing instrument interfaces as within established timelines as assigned

- Execute tasks associated with internal and or collaborative LIS projects involving Pathology, TCH Information Services (IS),
- Complete project tasks and LIS Requests as delegated by LIS Leadership.
- Utilize available project management tools to manage assigned tasks.
- Escalate issues to leadership in the event assigned projects will fail to meet target dates.
- Prepares accurate and timely status reports for LIS Leadership
- Provide support for the range of peripheral devices used in conjunction with the full range applications used within
- Assist TCH IS personnel and vendors with installation and configuration of said devices when appropriate.
- Assist with client and server software installation and configuration for initial system install and subsequent upgrades.
- Assist in developing training programs and materials/documentation for all user types
- Provide guidance and direction for LIS Liaisons within and across campuses to implement new tests and services in the LISs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of system errors and customer concerns using the established communication
- Review and respond to LIS support requests submitted through the LIS Hotline or LIS email and, if necessary, forward the

- Bachelor's Degree
