SUMMARY

Systems Analyst 2 (SA) should be comfortable living in both the Support and Engineering environments; translating internal technical-speak into clear concise directions for clients and vice-versa. The SA is part of a team that is the first line of contact for customers experiencing issues with VMware and Microsoft solutions. These team members are, in many ways, the “face of Schultz Technology” and must be passionate about helping our clients solve problems.
Systems Analyst 2 Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service while responding to phone and e-mail requests for technical support
- Represent the client to ensure support and service issues are being tracked, prioritized, resolved, and incorporated into the right documentation
- Assist in the support and deployment of new PCs, Virtual Machines and software products as needed
- Communicate technical issues and solutions to the escalation support team as well as to the client
- WAN, LAN, Firewall, VPN, Switch, and ancillary networking changes
- Work with in-house software team changing builds of software on company issued PCs and VMs as needed
- Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years relevant experience supporting distributed software technology in a VMware virtual environment hosting Windows VMs
- 1+ year(s) Office 365 experience
- Experience supporting multiple, simultaneous client technical issues
- Familiarity with software distribution, patch management, and anti-viral technologies
- Good analysis and debugging skill
- Ability to work a shift with additional responsibilities a few times a year for an on call after hours rotation
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field a plus
- Previous experience working supporting technology-based systems
- Must have good communication and customer service skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.

· Must have valid driver’s license
Position requires up to 70% NATIONAL travel. When not traveling, position would be remote from home.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
