Equitable Financial Life Insurance Company seeks a Systems Analysis, Retirement & QA - IT for its Charlotte, NC location.

Duties: Responsible for gathering requirements, system analysis, design, development, testing, deploying and maintaining multiple applications, including IBM Master Data Management framework development. Develop web based application in Angular. Develop Microservices in SpringBoot. Develop interactive Web services by creating database Models, APIs and views utilizing RESTful. Develop Java applications and components as services through SOAP, RESTful services using Spring Framework. Responsible for connecting full stack application development to Azure cloud services like storage account, Managed SQL instances and containerize the application. Implement product rules using ODM. Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Responsible for orchestrating Application's design flow in Azure cloud by using cost efficient services. Responsible for Design and Implementation of low-latency, high- viability and performant applications. Architect and design solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements. Demonstrates strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills. Be able to provide technical direction and lead a project to address a goal. Proficient in SQL databases like MS SQL, MySQL and no-SQL databases MongoDB. Automate multiple internal processes using basic python scripts triggered by Stonebranch jobs. Responsible for building Continuous Integration environment and Continuous delivery environment for different deployment regions using Azure DevOps. Responsible for supporting all internal Java based illustration applications in On-prem/Cloud Production environments. Develop a Python script to create statements report generation packages like ReportLab which helps to generate statements for annuity business. Design new data models to convert data from existing legacy applications from Business Assets to new or custom data structures. 

The base salary range for this position is $127,171 - $145,000/year. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent in Computer Applications, Applied Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related IT field and 6 years of experience as a Software Developer, or closely related IT position involving IBM Master Data Management framework development.  Full term of experience must include: Java/J2EE development; Web Frameworks; Multi-Process Architecture; Orchestrating End to End Application flow - Design, Build and Deploy; Multiple Delivery Platforms Understanding; and Spring Boot, Micro Services, Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, IBM Web Sphere Process Server, SOAP UI, Post Man, Toad, VSTS, GIT, Spring, Rational Application Developer, Oracle Database, Java 8, JUnit, JMeter, IntelliJ, Eclipse, Putty. 40 hours/week.  Partial remote work schedule is available.
