Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking a Systems AdministratorSCCM MECM to provide Information Technology (IT) service support across multiple mission areas within the directorate. The SCCM/MECM Administrator is a critical contributor to the computer network defense program and network operations. The SCCM administrator deploys, manages, and maintains the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) infrastructure. The Administrator ensures the effective functioning of SCCM, provides ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades as needed, and oversees the use and control of SCCM/MECM to ensure the ongoing health, viability, and security of US INDOPACOM systems.

Requirements:

Specific Responsibilities

  • Maintain, install, update, to include patching, and secure operating systems and applications for all current and additional assigned systems and applications within USINDOPACOM. The following is a non-inclusive list of USINDOPACOM systems and applications required to be supported through SCCM/MECM.
  • Responsible for patching of systems and applications.
  • Maintain the security posture and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance, in accordance with DoD and USINDOPACOM requirements, of all assigned systems and applications. Analyze processes, assigned systems and applications, and make recommendations for improvements and automation.
  • Ensure SCCM/MECM systems and applications are compliant with DoD Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) requirements, to include the maintenance of DoD PKI certificates for all assigned systems and applications.
  • Ensure that all Windows/Active Directory systems are included in the USINDOPACOM Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) architecture and that all required ESS components are installed and configured correctly.
  • Review the security and performance logs.
  • Review and evaluate assigned tickets in ServiceNow on a daily and determine the best way to support.
  • Will work with USINDOPACOM developers to identify and develop workflows for Windows based assets, re-quests, and tasks within ServiceNow.
  • Monitor the performance of SCCM/MECM and identify and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Proactively analyze, interpret, and prioritize system shortfalls, discrepancies, or necessary improvements in technologies and security requirements. Provide recommendations on engineering solutions and complex trouble resolutions.
  • Work closely with other cybersecurity professionals and other system administrators to ensure effective communication and collaboration on compliance issues.
  • Configures synchronization with software and patch update servers and Comply to Connect (C2C).
  • Perform updates as required. Utilize patches and new builds where necessary to ensure security and usability per cyber task orders (CTOs), and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts for all operating systems and third-party software.
  • Administers, develops, runs tests on, implements, and maintains operating system and related software.
  • Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, and networking problems.
  • Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and, when necessary, performs data recoveries.
  • Administers active directory systems in a Windows environment.
  • Establishes and oversees group policy.
  • Manages upgrades to software and hardware.
  • Additional responsibilities as required by the contract.


Qualifications

  • IAW DoD 8140.03-M, must meet the Intermediate Proficiency Level qualifications.
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field and at least two years of SCCM/MECM experience.
  • Alternatively, one can have five years of system administration and at least two years SCCM/MECM experience.
  • Must possess expert-level knowledge of Windows operating systems and an intermediate-level knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Must have Windows Domain Controller and Server administration experience.
  • Must have experience with automated enterprise patching.
  • Must have strong understanding of Microsoft SQL 2016/1019.
  • Must have familiarity with SharePoint.
  • Must have experience identifying and applying applicable security requirements (STIGS, IAVAs, and CTOs) to DoD systems.
  • Must have strong understanding of network and systems architecture including VDI.
  • Experience with VMware products, ESXi, vCenter, virtual machines, and clustering.
  • Splunk or other SIEM experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting, Active Directory Service Management, Group Policy, and automation is required.
  • Must have experience patching Windows servers. Must have experience in managing and reviewing audit logs.
  • Must have experience supporting Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) agents on Windows systems.

Up to 15% Domestics travel may be required for training and program coordination.
