Systems Administrator
A Systems Administrator contributes to the Network Essentials, INC mission by supporting the NOC Department with high level IT support. Also provides proactive client support using experience and industry knowledge to recommend process, software, and design improvement. The Systems Administrator will show a sense of urgency in providing excellent service to our clients, as well as setting and managing expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Escalation point for Help Desk Department.
- Manage escalated tickets and alert dispatch when additional time or resources are needed.
- Ability to diagnose complex issues in a variety of Line of Business software.
- Ability to clearly document solutions to complex technical problems.
- Support existing Backup Technologies.
- Develop and improve existing Standard Operating Procedures.
- Script and Automate solutions to issues or changes.
- Assist in documentation and evidence gathering for compliance requests.
- Manage and adjust automated alerts.
- Plan and implement system changes.
- Install updates on Operating Systems, Hyper Visors, and networking equipment.
- Manage automated maintenance systems and troubleshoot related issues.
- Provide both remote and onsite technical assistance with computer hardware and software installation and repair.
- Timely resolution of NOC tickets while providing comprehensive documentation of the issue and the resolution to ensure SLAs are met.
Requirements:
- Previous MSP experience required.
- Excellent communication skills with clients and co-workers at both technical and non-technical level.
- Being able to adapt and learn quickly.
- Must be organized, innovative and flexible.
- Ability to follow process, while always looking for improvements.
- Knowledge and experience with all actively supported Microsoft operating systems.
- Experience supporting M365 Admin Centers, specifically Entra, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, security as well as licensing.
- Basic Linux and Mac experience.
- Experience troubleshooting advanced networking principals.
- Experience troubleshooting and installing servers, firewall, routers, and switches.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently

Compensation:
- Salary: $33.65-$45.67/hour
- Company pays 100% of Medical, Vision, and Dental benefits for each employee.
- Up to 30 days PTO based on tenure. 15 days PTO starting off.
- Quarterly performance bonus
