System Support Specialist

Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated System Support Specialistto join our team in Norfolk, VA supporting our customer Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC-A).

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

• Applicant must be eligible for a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide support for personal computers, mini/mainframe computers, client-servers as well Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs) and webpages.
• Provide troubleshooting assistance.
• Troubleshoot systems.

EXPERIENCE:

• One (1) year of experience providing troubleshooting assistance and problem resolution for computer systems in a variety of environments.

EDUCATION:

• High School diploma or GED. Individual shall be working towards the relevant certifications: Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification such as: Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Applicable Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), Cloud Certifications.
• In lieu of experience, individual shall have completed 30 hours of postsecondary computer-related classes with a 3.0/4.0 cumulative GPA.
