About the Role
We're looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator II with expertise in enterprise systems, identity management, server virtualization, patching and compliance processes, and ITIL principles. Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in administering, supporting, and optimizing our services, SaaS systems, and server infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and implement best practices to support our company's IT Infrastructure and technological growth.
What You’ll Do
Administer enterprise systems, ensuring smooth operation.
Administer identity and access management systems, including user provisioning and access controls.
Assist senior members of staff with server virtualization activities to maintain efficient and scalable server environments.
Participate in patch management and compliance processes to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
Adhere to ITIL principles to support incident, service request, change, and problem management workflows.
Manage small to large projects with multi-department stakeholders while still being an active technical contributor.
Provide support for services and SaaS systems, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects and tasks within the multi-cloud environment.
Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure Team’s network engineers to support our enterprise networks.
Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures for knowledge base.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices to enhance system administration skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in IT systems administration, preferably with expertise in enterprise systems, identity management, and server virtualization.
Proficiency in managing identity and access management platforms, such as Okta, Active Directory, Azure AD, Google Workspace, or similar systems.
Strong knowledge of server virtualization technologies (e.g., Nutanix, Azurem, VMware, Hyper-V) and experience in maintaining virtualized environments. Nutanix is highly desirable.
Familiarity with patch management and compliance processes to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
Understanding of ITIL principles and their application in incident, change, and problem management.
Experience providing support for services and SaaS systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operation. Experience administrating Atlassian Suite his highly desirable.
Familiarity with network administration, dhcp, dns, and other basic networking concepts is required and Merkai experience is highly desirable.
Proficenency managing and participating in multi-stakeholder projects.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong documentation skills to create and maintain clear and comprehensive system records.
A proactive approach to staying updated with industry trends and best practices in system administration.
Domestic and International travel required
OT network hardware a plus.
ITIL experience a plus
