System Admin (Cyber Security) Long Term Contract Hybrid (Bay Area, CA)
Responsibilities:
- You will assist with vulnerability and configuration management remediation by collaborating with various teams and organizational leaders.
- You'll be capable of inspiring a security-focused mindset in development teams.
- You will communicate and collaborate with key organizational stakeholders regarding vulnerability and configuration management issues.
- You will initiate & lead discussions with service teams to identify patch management issues and drive & track solution implementations.
- You will assist in the prioritization/remediation of issues using tools such as Splunk Enterprise & Jira.
- Review vulnerability data to spot and promptly address anomalies.
- Assist in monitoring ad-hoc internal customer requests and coordinating responses and solutions.
Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate work programs across multiple organizations/teams.
- High-level understanding of vulnerabilitymanagement, and penetrationtesting processes & concepts.
- The role requires the ability to be diplomatic in all types of situations .
- The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating effectively and sensitively, particularly in sensitive situations, to ensure positive outcomes. This may involve managing difficult conversations, negotiating complex issues, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
