BASIC Functions:
- To perform the coordination and management of moderately complex proposals, contracts and purchase orders involving limited financial considerations or technical significance under the supervision of a higher level Contract Administrator or Manager.
- The individual is expected to continue to build the basic knowledge, skills and experience required for effective contract management to include negotiations and regular communication with customers and management. Develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Support assigned activities including proposal submittal, participation in proposal meetings, preparation of proposal terms, conditions and assumptions, preparation of proposal documents for internal bid approval review, and submittal to the customer.
- Review cost and price proposals as assigned to ensure they are prepared and submitted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, contractual provisions and Company policies.
- Act as primary point of contact between the Company and the Customer for all contractual matters on assigned contracts.
- Independently research contract language and seek guidance on complex terms and conditions from Manager.
- Administer all aspects of assigned contract processing including, but not limited to, accuracy of entry data, funding, scope changes, amendments, receipts and delivery schedules, legal requirements and other commitments.
- Perform assigned activities associated with Contract Closeouts.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
