Job Title:SWD, PD and H-Pump Technician

Purpose:

This position will be an integral member of CLIENT by assisting the Operations team with management, preventative maintenance, repair and inspection activities related to all produced water pumps and infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the activities of all pump systems in a safe cost-effective manner with a high degree of quality. This role will report to the Field Superintendent and support the Operations Engineering team as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the daily pumping activities for and functional knowledge of multiple types of pumps used in Salt Water Disposal (SWD) facility projects.
• Participate in weekly Operations meetings with detailed reports of activities, problems and/or needs form the team
• Reviews and signs daily field tickets as needed for third party contractors.
• Assist operations team with procurement and material tracking. Supports LWM team with inventory management
• Assist project engineering with maintaining project schedules and budgets
• Inspects work areas before, during and upon completion of assigned tasks to ensure the quality and accuracy of the work adheres to the project specifications and that the Foremen meet productivity and safety expectations
• A good working knowledge of SCADA systems and HMI use and operation
• A good working knowledge of pump curves both PD and Centrifugal pumps
• Be able to perform pump PM's with little or no guidance
• Be able to make repairs on PD pumps such as the replacement of valves, plungers and packing
• Ensures quality, safety and housekeeping standards are met on all facilities and systems
• Develops professional relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Interaction with customers and provides exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations
• Good communication skills and will requires routine reporting (Daily reports, Weekly Reports, Monthly Reports, Safety issues etc.) .
• Supports operations with maintenance repairs as needed outside of just pumps
• Wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while on the jobsite (i.e. vest, earplugs, glasses, hard hat, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an Oil and Gas lease pump technician is required
• Ability to handle multiple SWD Operators and multiple fast-paced SWD operation simultaneously is required
• Must have a valid driver license and legal citizen of the United States
• Familiarity with the use and operation of micrometer and laser alignment tools/machines
• Familiarity with electronic controls, Instrument and electrical

Knowledge and the application of Oil field operations, dealing with high pressure piping and systems, production documentation. Estimating, cost, of small to large pump repair projects, scheduling, documentation, working knowledge of engineering/operations principles, techniques, materials, applications, and practices are required
