Form of workPosition Overview:
This SVP of Secondary Marketing and Capital Markets heads the Secondary Marketing operations and Capital Markets functions for the company, which include our Retail/Branch, Wholesale/Correspondent, Builder Division and Consumer Direct lines of business. This position partners with executive management and divisional leadership in building and implementing long-term strategies around Secondary Marketing daily operations for pricing and rate lock support, Capital Markets (hedging and risk management), pricing and margin intelligence, servicing valuations and sales opportunities, and product development.
Ideal candidates for this position will possess proven experience planning Secondary Marketing strategies; have experience partnering with and supporting multiple business channels; have established investor relationships; and excellent leadership and relationship-building skills.
Essential Functions of the Role:
- Responsible for the strategic planning around margin management.
- Responsible for hedging pipeline/pipeline risk management, secondary market loan sales and securitizations.
- Develop long-term plans for product development and implementation.
- Develop and implement new Capital Markets relationships with warehouse line lenders and loan investors.
- Provides leadership and direction to the Secondary Marketing department to ensure efficient and effective operations within the function.
- Develop reports and analytics to review performance and recommend opportunities for revenue enhancement.
- Provide reporting and profitability figures to executive management team.
- Remain current on changing investor guidelines and revise processes and procedures accordingly to maintain compliance and marketability.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of the mortgage industry/market and act as a subject matter expert for investor guidelines/locks and other secondary market questions.

Experience Requirements:
- At least fifteen years of Secondary Marketing and Capital Markets experience required, with at least five years of experience in a senior management role.
- Optimal Blue experience preferred.
Education/Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
