Maven is looking for an experienced, high-performing sales leader to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue targets through channel partners, which include health plans, PBMs, and other partnerships. You will be responsible for maximizing our channel team's potential while also managing a cross-functional Maven team to grow and manage our channel partners and the customers we have through them. You will also develop and grow relationships with key stakeholders across both the channels and Maven leaders.

You are a sales professional with demonstrated experience building and leading high performing teams to navigate Channel Sales, close complex business deals, and consistently exceed goals. This candidate must be a strong leader who is extremely well organized, process oriented, metrics driven, and quality minded. The role will report to our Chief Growth Officer.

As SVP, Channel Sales at Maven, you will:

  • Develop and execute the Maven channel strategy to achieve pipeline and bookings targets while supporting broader Maven goals
  • Manage, coach, and monitor performance of Channel Sales and account executive teams to establish and deliver against individual channel strategies and goals
  • Drive sales through channels by ensuring close coordination between the channel teams and the employer sales team
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to manage channel relationships inclusive of employer sales, client success, client delivery, and other Maven teams
  • Innovate on and manage the operating model to scale our growth with channel partners more efficiently
  • Present accurate sales forecasts and performance metrics to the management team with recommendations for improvements, resource allocation, and investments
  • Oversee expansion of channel relationships into additional lines of business, new products, contract negotiations, and other areas of additional growth
  • Drive market and TAM expansion by strategically identifying, sourcing, and contracting additional channel partners
  • Proactively identify and remove channel driven roadblocks for Maven's sales team to enable higher volume of Channel Sales
  • Help develop and maintain, both personally and with Maven's executive team, a network of relationships with key stakeholders and influencers within our channel partners
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for growth led initiatives that impact clinical, product, and other Maven teams
  • Develop compensation plans that drive performance and ensure team targets are met

We're looking for you to bring:

  • Successful track record of leading sales/channel teams to meet/exceed quota attainment
  • Minimum of 15 years relevant experience with at least 5 years in sales leadership roles with teams managing multi-million dollar contract values selling, preferably through channels
  • Proven track record in identifying, building and managing complex business partnerships that involve growing revenue and market share
  • Process-oriented leadership skills that include a track record of scaling organizations to drive increasingly efficient growth
  • Experience negotiating complex multi-year agreements involving multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to build and maintain strong executive relationships
  • Prefer experience selling in international markets
  • Thoughtful and organized collaborator, working with and leading cross-functional teams
