Location of the role is: Riverside Office (Downtown Chicago), IL-  In person 5 days onsite.

As a Stericycle summer intern, you'll pack a lot into 10 short weeks. Key Job Activities:
  • Benchmarking our peers on water disclosure status, strategies, & targets
  • Identify best practices for water disclosure reporting from SBTN and CDP
  • Perform materiality assessment for water consumption and identify Stericycle sites in water stressed river basins
  • Presentation of findings to Stericycle leadership
  • Learn about Stericycle's GHG inventory and CDP climate change disclosure and assist as needed
  • Research and provide recommendations on select components of ESG disclosures, potentially including climate scenario analysis and biodiversity risk
  • Support Stericycle's culture of sustainability by collaborating on external facing materials.
  • Other tasks to support the sustainability and ESG teams as necessary
  • Prefer students pursuing a degree in sustainability, environmental science, or a related topic
Experience (North America):
  • Current undergraduate or graduate level student, or recent graduate
  • Motivated, energetic, ready to jump into new situations
  • Prefer students entering their junior or senior years and recent graduates
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in written format and verbally
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be 18 years or older, with a HS diploma or equivalent
