Conemaugh Nason Medical Center is seeking a full-time Surgical Services Supervisor for our Operating Room. The Surgical Services Supervisor works closely with the Director in order to manage the daily operations of the Operating Room.

Essential Functions:
Works collaboratively within the Surgical Services Department with the Director of Surgical Services and various Surgeon Practices.
Assists with projects and the overall management/operations of the Operating Room.
Responsible for making supervisory decisions in a clinical setting, including those involving staff and patient care.
Assists in ensuring staff complete required educations and competencies.
Actively involved in IT-related processes and functions within the department.
Ensures scheduling and payroll are accurately completed. Works with the OR Assistant to ensure employee time is correct.
Works with the Director to guarantee patient safety goals are met and Physicians are accommodated appropriately.
Assists with employee engagement activities. Works with Director to recruit and retain qualified staff members for the department.
Fills in for the Director when needed.
Acts in a Registered Nurse capacity when needed, working in an OR environment with team members.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Education:
Graduate of a RN program required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Minimum Work Experience:
2-3 years' RN experience required.
1 year RN/OR experience required.
Required Licenses:
[Pennsylvania, United States] Registered Nurse
Current nurse's license in the state of Pennsylvania or a current multistate license (MSL) from compact member states/territories required.
BLS Certification.
Required Skills:
Ability to organize and perform work in an ethical and accurate manner.
Strong communication and computer skills.
