Surgical Scrub Technician

Surgical Institute is a seeking full time Surgical Scrub Technician to join our team in a warm and collaborative surgical environment.

Candidate will proficiently perform the role of Surgical Technologist, anticipating the surgeon’ needs for a variety of surgical specialties. The Surgical Scrub Technician responsibilities include;

· Maintain sterility

· Set up the operating suite for procedures

· Prepare surgical equipment and instruments

· Set up table, instruments and supplies according to procedure type

· Perform sponge, needle and other counts

· Handle specimens

· Stock supplies

· Periodic lifting, pushing and standing for extended periods of time

· Provide excellent customer service

Required

· High School Diploma

· Scrub Technologist Certification or

· Graduate of accredited program for Surgical Technologist

Travel to our additional facilities located in Middlesex, Monmouth, and Ocean County is occasionally required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
